King Edward Mine Museum Normal Opening Times 2019

 

We are closed for the Winter till around Easter 2019 - opening days for King Edward Mine for summer 2019 to follow.

On opening days, the site is open 10am to 5pm.  Last tour 3.30.

 

The Croust Hut cafe is  open all year  www.thecrousthut.co.uk  "With the car park right outside we will have coffee and fresh cake ready for your visit.'


Visits by organised groups and education organisations can be arranged outside normal times. 

 

All exhibitions and the working mill are  accessible by wheelchair users.


Suitable footwear should be worn due to the uneven floors and some steep stairs.

Your entrance fee helps us to keep our organisation running, powering our machinery and maintaining our grounds.

 

We can now take Card payments when you Visit King Edward Mine Museum.


Free entry to the shop and Mineral Tramways Exhibition to find out about surrounding mining heritage.

Parking for the Great Flat Lode trail free, but please note that the car park and toilets are locked at 5pm.
